Claudia Castrase, the artist behind the homonym fashion label, considers herself a visual story teller rather than a fashion designer. With a background in painting and visual arts, she studied fashion design at the University of Arts in Bucharest.

Ever since her first collection in 2007, she mixes abstract concepts with design elements in a well-defined, personal style. Her trademarks are the minimal, pure lines, perfect geometry, and a subtle, timeless elegance.
